This is a moderately difficult cache for experienced geocachers.

About the Container
You're looking for a small metal container. It is designed to blend in with its surroundings. It is too small to hold travel bugs or trade items. Please bring your own pen.
About the Location
The hiding spot is up on the pedestrian bridge, not down on the lower path. You will have to go outside of the fence, which will involve some climbing no matter how you approach it. You will not have to hang upside down or perform any crazy acrobatics. There are some hollow spots inside the fence posts. The cache is not in there. I haven't seen any wasps around there but be careful as always. The cache will be findable in winter but use common sense if the conditions are wet or icy. This is a fun spot for an adult to hunt alone but it's not recommended for small children.
There is free street parking near the cache on Wilson Drive.
About the Spy Gear
In the 1964 film, Goldfinger, James Bond used a grappling hook gun to sneak into the stronghold of a Latin American drug lord. The device looked like a German handgun mixed with a harpoon gun and a fishing rod.
Decades later this type of gadget became associated with Batman. A rifle-like grappling gun first appeared in the 1986 comic miniseries, The Dark Knight Returns. A handheld version appeared in the 1989 movie Batman by Tim Burton and since then it has become a standard in comics, movies, cartoons, and video games.
Goldfinger appeared in theaters two years before start of the Batman television series starring Adam West. At that time, Batman still threw his batarangs by hand.
