The year of 1975....
In the year 1975 in Maryland there was a team of workers who were building a bridge over little falls stream. It was getting late and soon the workers would be getting off for the day. They were fast at work building this little bridge when suddenly one of the workers named Bill thought he herd a woman crying. He asked the other men if they herd anything but they shook their heads in confusion and told Bill "Hey guy, maybe your just getting a little tired. It's getting dark out here and we are in the woods maybe your tired brain is playing tricks on you." Bill thought maybe their right.....but soon he herd the woman's cry louder and louder at this point he thought she was right beside him. He jumped up from his position UNDER THE BRIDGE, and headed to THE other side where his companions were beginning to pack up their tools. He said "You guys might be all the way on this side of the water but MAN YOU HAD TO HEAR HER CRYING THIS TIME, IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS RIGHTNEXT TO ME!?!?!?!!!!!!??? Again they told him he was nuts or over tired from working all these long hours on this bridge. His supervisor told him go back over there and start packing your stuff. So Bill hesitated and did as he was told. Deep down he knew what he was hearing was real. As he packed his tools he saw something METALLIC BUT DARK IN COLOR NOT LIKE THE COLOR OF THE METAL ON THE BRIDGE. He picked it up and it was a SMALL MAGNETIC CONTAINER. He began to hear the woman's cries again as handled this mysterious object. His boss began to shout "Ok men time to go, hurry up I've got to get home my wife made mini meat loafs tonight and I'm starving." All the other men accept Bill laughed and went running to their vehicles. Bill however looked around and shoved the item into his pocket and slowly walked to his truck listening to the vehicles starting and the woman's cries fading into the distance.
With the object in his pocket he began to drive home. He made it about 1 mile from his House in middle river, taking a long dark back road the only road that went to his home, when suddenly he saw a woman behind in his rear view mirror sitting in his backseat!!! He screamed and stomped on the breaks and veared over to the side of the road. He turned around to see this woman and she was gone. All he saw was a pale white face with glowing lilac eyes in his mirror. He thought to him self as scary as it was she was a beautiful ghostly woman. He wasn't sure if what he saw was real or if he really was just that exhausted from a long days work in that bridge. He arrived at home and was welcomed by his wife and his three kids, ate his meal and readied him self for bed. All the while he had forgotten about the mysterious item he had pocketed after hearing those cries. Once his family was fast asleep he remembered the item and tip toed threw his home so not to wake his family and reached into his pants that were hanging out of the wash basket and grabbed the item and began to look at this SMALL DARK METAL MAGNETIC CONTAINER and realized it had a TWIST OPENING. He began to open the item when suddenly he felt as if someone was watching him. He got goosebumps as he felt the temperature go from warm to cold in an instant. He continued to twist the the top of the item and found a slip of paper inside, he unrolled the paper and saw a list of names. He though to him self who are these people and what is this for.....? All of a sudden a ghostly female voice began to speak whispering in his ear " I will leave you be if you simply place this item and it's contents onto your bridge when it is finished. Place it UNDERNEATH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE BRIDGE firmly. Only then will you be ridded of my haunt." Terrified and confused Bill put the item into his work bag for the next day. He went to sleep having horrible nightmares of death and a ghostly woman. The next day at work as the job came to an end and the final beam was placed on the bridge he herd the cry again remembering what the ghostly voice Had told him he placed the mysterious item and it's slip of names UNDER THE BRIDGE ON AN I BEAM NEAR THE FINAL WELD. The cries instantly stopped and he never herd them again after that day. Years later he read in an online article about geocachers who have gone missing in the exact area that he placed that mysterious item as he was told too by the beautiful ghostly woman. He can only believe that the item and it's contents and the ghostly woman have something to do with the disappearing geocachers.
Once you find the cache, sign the log and hope that you are not her next victim. It is said that this cache came from the spirit world and isn't like any other cache it may seem typical but it's cursed by the ghostly woman. She watches this bridge and section of the stream and we are not sure why she chooses the people she does but once in a while a cachercomes along who suits her needs and they vanish after signing the log and are NEVER EVER herd from again..
