CARL10 THE RELAX: Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
CARL10 is all about friendship as we celebrate 10 years of CARL events in the Lethbridge area.
Welcome to CARL10, the 10th Cache and Relax Lethbridge weekend hosted by EO-LETH and coordinated by Crossticher and TeamDJM.
The CARL10 RELAX event is at the posted coordinates. Meet your fellow cachers for refueling, story-telling and prize distribution. We have a picnic shelter, large grassed area and a building in case of rain (does it rain in Lethbridge??). Bring your own lawn chairs and a picnic supper for your family. This is a family gathering, so no alcohol please. Children’s games are being planned. This is our 10th anniversary, so look for special events, including our special anniversary cache.
Please post a 'Will attend' and indicate the number of people attending.
RECOGNITION/PRIZES: After super, we will celebrate our successes and share our troubles and some prizes will be awarded. We would appreciate the donation of additional prizes for the event. Please let us know if you have anything to donate.
PARTICIPATION: You are welcome to log the event as 'Attended' only if you attend the RELAX.
LASTING EFFECT: New friendships, new caches in the Lethbridge area & new ideas for caches.
What happens before the RELAX event? If you would like to support the event by hiding one or more caches for CARL10, submit them for approval between now and Thursday, May 31st. For more information or details about the weekend, please send an email to EO-LETH at lthbridge@gmail.com.
Name the cache CARL10 (written without any spaces or dashes) at the start of the name (e.g. CARL10 I See You) and hide the cache within 40km of the posted coordinates. As with all caches, they must be in place at the time they are submitted for final review.
In the description mention that once the cache is published it is active and can be found, however, the cache should not be located prior to 6pm Friday June 15 to be counted in the RELAX totals.
In the 'Notes to the cache reviewer' section, you should state that the cache is placed for the CARL10 event and should be published the evening of Thursday, June 14th.
Thur June 14: The CARL10 caches are published around 7pm Alberta time.
Fri June 15: 6pm to Saturday June 16, 6pm: Find as many or as few CARL10 caches as you want:
Sat June 16: 6pm to 8:30pm: The CARL10 RELAX event at the posted coordinates.
