Come join us for the first Dinosaur Discovery Day of the season at Dinosaur Ridge on Saturday, May 12th from 10am - 3pm. There will also be another one of these on October 13th. Dinosaur Ridge has invited us to host more than one event, like we've done in previous years. Geocaching Colorado has been hosting a booth at Dino Days since 2006, and created an event for it most of those years. I am trying to help keep this tradition going with help from our great geocaching community. Those who attend love swinging by our booth to learn about our crazy addiction.
You can take a leisurely stroll around the park, learning about dinosaurs and finding geocaches, or take the shuttle for a small fee. Come share stories, and trade trackables. There is always something fun to do even if you have already found all of the nearby caches. Perhaps you could even help convert a muggle into a geocacher??? Did you know that Colorado's State Fossil is a Stegosaurus?
You MUST use the parking coordinates, and shuttle (or walk) into the park. I highly recommend carpooling, as there is a $5 fee for parking per car. Access via Morrison or Alameda exits. Or if the weather is great, come visit on your bike.
