A Geo-hydrant (reborn) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

wallmeister22601: The cache seems to have walked away with the last landscaping crew that was here.

I'm glad that this cache lasted as long as it did.

Thanks to all who visited.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

We’ve all heard of and seen fire hydrants. They are used by the fire department as a source of water to help them in their efforts to extinguish fires.

Now have you ever heard of a Geo-hydrant?

Meister created this Geo-hydrant as a means for Geo-cachers to find and log a cache.

It is large enough to store a few small trade items as well as geo coins and travel bugs.

While it is illegal to disassemble or tamper with a fire hydrant it is not illegal to take this Geo-hydrant apart.

As a matter of fact you will have to unscrew the top cap to gain access.

When unscrewing the top cap please use care and do not hold the base of the Geo-hydrant, hold the sides.

There’s also room to store items in the sides but I advise placing items in baggies if you leave something in the sides.

Please feel free to post any pictures of the Geo-hydrant.

While the Geo-hydrant can hold a pen we did not include one so please bring your own to sign the log with.

Good Luck and Happy Caching.
