Geocache Description:

Milburn Landing is part of the Pocomoke River State Park system. You will enjoy hiking, fishing, camping, bird watching and bicycling in this area. One of Marylands Champion Loblolly Pine Trees is located in this park. Connecting to this park is the Algonquin trail where you can bicycle , horse back ride, hike or run the cross country trial. Be aware there are ticks, lots and lots of ticks, and mosquitos at times. You may see Eagles, Deer, Snakes and a variety of other animals while enjoying this park.

The boat ramp and pavilions were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. also known as Roosevelts Tree Army.

This is a day use park unless you are camping. The gate is open April unitl December. When the gate is open drive back to the parking area and enjoy the park. If the gate is closed you may park on the access road near the entrance and hike  or bicycle in. Do Not Block The Drive Way.

You will find other parking areas outside the park with access to trails that will bring you into the park.

You will be hiking along the Bald Cypress Trail to find this geocache. This geocache is a small lock n lock with a log book, pen and room for small tradeables.

Thank You to the Park Rangers for assistance with placing these. Shad Landing State park is across the river with more hiking trails and geocaches.
