I started the Johnny Appleseed series about three months ago as I watched my caching karma droop over the years, and felt the need to give back, and explore the local trails in a different perspective. Since those 50 caches were placed, my karma has doubled from 0.35 to over 0.70, so I'm starting round two, sprinkling caches along the trails just a bit farther from home.
Have you ever wondered what those antennae you see on top of Black Mountain are from down below? Here you get an up close and personal look, for what it is worth. This cache is placed about as far down a service road towards the lower cluster of antennae. You might hope for a great view: it is OK, but always a little bit obstructed. If only you could climb those antennae. Good luck! (Note: don't try).
