This geocache is hidden on the Chesney Tract of the Kentucky River Wildlife Management Area. Please be aware that this is an active hunting area, so wear orange and be very careful or avoid the area altogether during active hunting seasons. Most of the caches are hidden along old farm roads or mowed areas along the ridgelines. For best results, study the topo maps to avoid needless hiking of ups and downs, unless you just like that kind of stuff.
This cache location marks one of 2 parking areas for this tract of the WMA, and is the best spot to park to begin your hike up into the WMA via an old road. The cache container is a camoed Rx bottle, with only a log. It is tethered in place by a zip tie and/or nylon string. The log is vinyl, so a sharpie style pen works best.
