An easy cache to celebrate the opening of the GWSR heritage railway line to Broadway.
After 58 years steam and heritage diesel trains are back in Broadway station! It’s taken 10 years , £4 million and an awful lot of hard work by many many volunteers but the first public passenger trains arrive at the new station on Good Friday (30th March) 2018
This means you can now travel on a 30 mile round trip from Cheltenham racecourse, stopping at Gotherington, Winchcombe, Hailes Abbey halt (request stop), Toddington, Broadway and back. It’s in the top 5 longest preserved lines.
Parking on the roadside verge at either end of the footpath.
