Another reason to saunter up this challenging yet not long path. You will lose track of the number of creek crossings on your way to the waterfall at the end, and the cache that is there. Room for other caches on the way, so I thought I would make the trip a bit more enticing for others. Be prepared to get your feet wet - almost no way to avoid it, although with good waterproof boots, that might be all the gets wet!
Signal is very iffy here under the dense canopy, so some detailed hints are given. You are looking for a small peanut butter container, which has a second container inside it. Park at the Dry Creek entrance to the park and make your way towards the Waterfall Track, which is clearly signposted. The information sign gives the track time as 45 minutes each way, but this is conservative. It still wouldn't hurt to allow 90 minutes for this round trip. The placement trip, with two little ones along, took 80 minutes, including time to find a cache, place a cache, and splash around for 10 minutes at the waterfall itself.
Bring your own writing utensil. Online logs that do not match the logbook will be deleted unless previously arranged with the CO. It is a general expectation of all cachers to log their finds online within a few weeks of signing the logbook.
