Geocache Description:

Citizen Park, comprised of 26.70 acres, formerly housed the Manitowoc County fairgrounds and in 1972 was named after the schooner Citizen.  The Citizen was built in Manitowoc in 1847 by Captain Joseph Edwards and is believed to be one of the first clipper ships produced on the Great Lakes cp5 by Mike Oswald. Many people mistakenly call the park Citizens Park in the belief that the name refers to the word citizen (a native or inhabitant of a city.) Congrats RiverBluff First to Find!

Please put the cache back like you found it so others have the same experience. Thank you! =)
