Are you fed up with events inside, or in pubs? Do you like fresh air? Do you like to meet other cachers? Do you like to talk caching, hills and life in general?
If you have answered yes, then this may just be for you.
The Breakfast at Sunrise tradition started at Peel Tower above Ramsbottom, since then it has taken place in a variety of places, all off them, barr one in remote locations. So what do you get for attending a Breakfast at Sunrise event?
Well you get breakfast, though don't expect a carvery.
You get to be on a hill at a time of day that many others may not be about.
You get a chance to meet other cachers, exchange trackables and generally enjoy the banter.
So why Huddersfield I hear you call? Above Huddersfield is a hill known as Castle Hill, that dominates the locality. It is also reasonably easy for many to access, so for once, there will be no bog trottting or a 5 mile walk into an event [:)].
So when will the event be?
02/06/2018. 0730 to 0800.
Yes, I know that this is not actual sunrise time, which will have already taken place at Crack o'Sparrow, but there is still the opportunity to experience a hill at the start of the day.
Breakfast this time, will be some cake, as local rules prohibit any fires, barbecues etc so as to preserve the location.
You are responsible for yourself. You need to come prepared for the weather that Yorkshire may throw at you.
