Geocache Description:

When: Monday, Apr 23, 2018 from 12pm to 1pm.

What: Bring a bag lunch and hang out with other C.A.C.H.E.rs (Camrose & Area Cache Hunting Enthusiasts)

Where:  The public benches on the north side of Mirror Lake (48A Ave near 52A St).  We'll be just south of the gazebo near Kamifurano Park.  (In case of rainy weather, we'll simply move the event into the gazebo.)

Why: To check out progress on the 48 Avenue Bridge Replacement project.  And because we all need to eat lunch on that day anyways!!

Through is work for the City of Camrose, "J" of the JREnarson caching team is actually the City's project manager for the 48 Avenue Bridge Replacement project.  For more information about the project, please check out the project blog on the City's website: www.camrose.ca/bridge

At a recent event, J came up with the idea of hosting a geocaching event once per month on the north side of Mirror Lake so that we can all see what is happening on the bridge project.  Come and learn a bit about the project, and come back each month to see what's happened since your last visit.  (The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August 2018.)

The event will be very simple in its set-up:  bring a bag lunch to the posted coordinates on the date & time listed, and eat your lunch with other C.A.C.H.E.rs that are there. These events are great times to catch up with old catching friends, meet some new caching friends, and exchange geocaching stories and TBs.

There will be a log book present at the event.

Hope to see you there!!
