Geocache Description:

People living in Adams County have a blessing and a curse: the trains. Without the train, there would be no city of Adams. Without the train, many jobs would be lost. Without the train, my dog would stop barking at the rumbling in the middle of the night and I'd get sleep! At least we don't live close enough that the dishes shake.

Driving to and from our house and town, we often need to stop to wait for the train to pass through. One good thing is it gives me a chance to listen to some of my favorite songs. I'm still old enough to have a collection of special CDs to listen to instead of streaming music. Unfortunately, the rumbling of the train and the effects of caching in the wilds of rural Oregon for several years has taken a toll on the electric geomobile's entertainment system. For example, tonight, when I was stopped by the train, the music I listened to when like this:

Long Train Running (how appropriate), Rockin' Down the Highway (again, rocking, but not down the highway), Without You, Black Water (plenty of that around here right now), Long Train Running (again), Listen to the Music (yes, I'm doing that), Long Train Running (good song, but this is just rubbing it in).

Ok! Train was done, made my shopping run, and then got stuck by the train again. Same effect on the entertainment:

Black Water (yes, it's getting dark now), Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While) (the geomobile is certainly rocking), Without You, Rockin' Down the Highway (now that's getting irritating), Black Water (again), Black Water (AGAIN), and as the train finally passes, Take Me In Your Arms (Rock Me A Little While) (this took more than a little while).

The one upside is that my wife isn't asking what took me so long, we always hear the train louder than the music.

Cache is not hidden at the posted coordinates, that's where I was when I got stuck the first time.
