After SHS #5 you can ignore the waymarked bridleway on the left and carry on westwards until you reach a T-junction of tracks. Waymarking indicates the track to the right. This track used to be a quagmire, but has now been graded and covered with recycled tarmac gravel. But the horses will soon return the track to mud, I fear! Cryptic crossword solvers may be at an advantage here, but GPS devices may be unreliable. In view of frequent DNFs recorded I have added more to the hint. (November 2018)
