The Last March of the Ents Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-allenite-: As there's been no response from the cache owner to my previous note, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

I have always thought these gnarly trees looked like the Ents from the Lord of the Rings marching to war with Saruman at the fortress of Isengard. The Tolkien books have been one of my favorite reads since I was in High School.

This hide should be a nice park and grab, a Peanut butter jar with room for a small amount of trade items. Be careful not to slide into the creek. You will not need to trespass on private land since the cache is within the right of way for the road

FTF prize is a 1970 West German coin from before the fall of the Berlin Wall There is a very nice fruit market nearby where you can buy or pick fruit in season as well as a great watering hole that often has live music, enjoy
