The Boy Scout Troop in McComb is holding their annual spring clean up on the nearby county roads.
Any scouts in the area are welcome to help out to earn service hours. The event is open to any and all geocachers, and not just Scouts. This event is to assist the scouts and community.
The posted coordinates will bring you to the McComb Church of Christ. Once at the church, teams/groups will be given coordinates and a map of the areas to be cleaned. All trash collected will be picked up by scout parents and leaders.
We will meet at the church on April 21st at 9:00AM and will be finished at 11:30AM.
Please bring gloves and wear brightly colored clothing. Pick up sticks or grabbers are also good items to use.
This is great way to help keep local communities clean.
Afterwards, we can go eat at the local pizza shop for lunch.
This is also a CITO weekend, a souvenir will be earned.
