BASSORIDGE TROLLEYS: Rock Stars Traditional Cache

BASSORIDGE TROLLEY SYSTEM

Many years ago, this entire area was part of the extensive Basso empire. Naturally the CEO was Squire Basso, shown below, in the "switching yard."

Well, Squire Basso was also quite a music lover, and he sponsored many rock bands. Of course, not many made it to Hollywood--but some did! His favorite group was a local group, called "The Trolleys." The photo below is from their European tour.

The Trolleys go Platinum

The Trolleys would often perform here at BassoRidge. Later, success would go to their head, and they would only perform at the Paladium or the Forum.

This spot marks the exact location of their first concert after their first Platinum album. The county of Alameda built a monument here, but it was later taken down by the Park District. (They were jealous of the Trolley's success, and preferred hip-hop.)

I think there still might be something here placed in honor of this famed group. Can you help me find it?
