Once again, it is time for the cleanup, to keep us on good terms with the City of Salem.
The date: Saturday, April 28th
The time: 10 a.m. to noonish (often finishing earlier than that)
The place: South River Road in Salem
We are the proud custodians of the stretch of River Road, from the entrance to Minto-Brown Park to the intersection with Croisan Creek Road. Come join us as we spruce up our adopted road section and spend time with local cachers - a great opportunity to put names to those logs, share caching tips and plan caching adventures. And possibly find a few caches in the neighborhood. The event will take place rain, shine or fog. You will need to dress for any possible type of weather, although the weather is usually nice this late in the spring. Closed toed shoes that you do not mind getting dirty are a must. Rubber gloves, trash bags, colored vests and a few grabbers will be supplied by the City. Bring garden gloves for yourself, if you wish. Hats and sunscreen are strongly recommended.
