Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of Celtic Saints! The starting point is at the little bridge at N 55 44 8 W 004 51 4 . Start to follow the red path along the shoreline you will pass a lovely little sandy and shell beach on your right, take in the views of Fairlie Bay , Isle of Cumbrae and Largs. There are many benches to rest if needed! When you reach the end of the path at the last bench the path continues slightly uphill to your left and becomes slightly trail like .Walk along till you reach large pine trees on your right with an opening view on your left ! You are looking for the remains of a Tree trunk under the pine trees! see photos to help! When you find the tree trunk stand with your back to it ! Be wary on the slope it can be slippery!

THERE IS A TRACEABLE DEVICE IN THIS GEOCACHE ON A PILGRIMAGE TO IONA.
