Traditionnellement, l’anniversaire de fondation de DGS (Dirtbag Geocaching Society) est fêté le premier samedi du mois de mai. Cette année, ce 8ième anniversaire tombera sur le 5 mai 2018.

On se rencontrera au restaurant Jarry Smoked Meat de Montréal de 11 heures à 13 heures pour un déjeuner et/ou un diner.
On échangera nos trackables et on se racontera nos histoires de géocaching.
Depuis sa fondation en mai 2010 à Aberdeen (Caroline du Nord), la société a créé des sections locales dans plusieurs états américains. En 2015, elle a franchi le Pacifique, en s’installant en Australie et en 2016, elle a franchi l’Atlantique, en s'installant en Europe. Finalement, en décembre 2017, trois géocacheurs québecois ont fondé une section locale au Canada. À date, le groupe canadien est composé de quelques québécois, d’albertains et de néo-écossais.
Le but de la société est de promouvoir le géocaching de qualité en s’amusant.

Come and join us for the society's birthday party.
We will meet in Montreal's Jarry Smoked Meat restaurant from 11 am to 1 pm for lunch and / or dinner.
We will trade our trackables and we will tell our stories of geocaching.
Since its founding in May 2010 in Aberdeen, North Carolina, the society has created chapters in several US states. In 2015, she crossed the Pacific, settling in Australia and in 2016, she crossed the Atlantic, settling in Europe. Finally, in December 2017, three Quebec geocachers founded a chapter in Canada. To date, the Canadian group is made up of a few Quebecers, Albertans and Nova Scotians.
The goal of the society is to promote quality geocaching while having fun.
