Geocache Description:


Here you will find yourself near the old Tuggeranong siding. The trainline here follows the ACT border, and this section was completed in 1913. The Tuggeranong siding was used for loading and unloading stock and occasionally passengers. The trainline used to go all the way to Cooma and Bombala but was decommissioned due to high maintenance and low usage. Read the nearby “Marking the Border” tourist sign for more information.
