The "Papilio" Letterbox Letterbox Hybrid

"Papilio" is the genus name for a group of large, colorful butterflies known to most people as swallowtails. They derive their name from the projections or 'tails' on their hind wings. While not all swallowtails actually have them, the zebra has tails as long as its body. Some swallowtails have more than one tail on each hind wing. The stamp in this letterbox depicts a Papilio sp. Enjoy!

Remember that this is a letterbox hybrid.  The stamp, ink pad, and log book are not SWAG and should remain with the cache.

The Cache:

1. From the posted coordinates (trailhead), direct your travels boreally.

2. When you reach the 'land of no tobacco' (N 39 44.731 W 77 34.229), take an oriental tack.

3. Proceed 200 feet to the center of the 'great crossing', locate the northeast corner, and backtrack three uprights. Begin your search.

This is usually a relatively quiet place, but muggles can approach quickly and unexpectedly, so use stealth when necessary.

Please replace and secure the container exactly as found.  This is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT because otherwise, it may be visible from certain angles and vulnerable to muggles (it has already been ravaged twice).

Note: The cache location is accessible by wheelchair, but the container can not be searched from a chair.
