This cache is located at the lakeside park in Granite Falls, N.C. This area is known by locals as the "Tater Hole." There is a sign at the boat ramp that tells the story. Start at the trailhead behind the picnic shelter and procede around the lake shore. The hike is a short one, but the trail is somewhat steep at the start and when you come back out. The rest of the trail is flat and maintained by the town, and volunteers. There is a short bushwhack to the GZ, just enough to prevent the cache from being seen by muggles. There is room for swag, but I do not recommend it. Once you see the container, and it's contents, you will hopefully see the twist in this cache idea. Bring your own pen, and enjoy the park.
