ÄMM (Äntu Metsa Matk) seeria tutvustab teile Äntu-Nõmme looduse õpperada. Rada paikneb metsarikkas oosistikus Väike-Maarjast 7-10 km lõuna ja kagu pool põhiliselt Äntu maastikukaitsealal. Piirkonna järvestikku kuulub seitse Äntu looduslikku järve. Ala kuulub Pandivere lubjatoiteliste järvede valdkonda. Piirkond pakub lisaks veekogudele huvi ka pinnavormide poolest. Järved asuvad siinsete põhja-lõunasuunaliste ooside ja nendega põimuvate mõhnade vahel.
Olete tõusnud mõhna harjale ning näete eemal Linaleo ehk Linajärve. Selle lubjatoitelise 0,25 ha suuruse läbivoolujärve sügavus on 5,6 m. Järve läbib nagu kõiki teisigi järvi ühendav Järveoja. Vees kasvab mändvetikaid, valgeid vesiroose, ujuvat penikeelt ning kollast vesikuppu. Äntu mõisast toodi siia linasid likku, sellest ka järve nimetus. Kui olete mäest alla laskunud, võite minna mööda väikest laudteeharu vaateplatvormini ja imetleda sealt järve. Edasi kulgeb rada mööda romantilist Järveoja kallast. Ümbritsev mets on ürgse ilmega. Suvel on siin jahe ja hämar. Pange tähele raja ääres kasvavat sõlmes kuuske. Ületanud Järveoja liikuge edasi mööda vastaskalda äärset rada.

Äntu Forest Hike series introduces you Äntu-Nõmme nature studies trail. The trail is located in a thickly forested part of the Äntu nature reserve. Situated 7–10 km south–south-east of Väike-Maarja, the trail passes by seven natural lakes and an artificial one (a reservoir) in Äntu and three artificial lakes in Nõmme. Along the trail you will see important historical and literary places, as well as Punamägi hill, which was home to Southern Virumaa’s biggest stronghold, Agelinde. The trail also introduces limestone production and slate sites in the ‘Pandivere Slate Nation’.
You have mounted a hill and Lake Linaleo is in front of you. The area of the lake is 0.25 ha, the depth ca 5.6 m. The Stream Järveoja, which connects the five lakes, flows through it. Charophyta, yellow and white water lilies and broad-leaved pondweeds grow here. In the past this was a flax-retting pool of Äntu Estate. The name "Linaleo" refers to this estate function. The path follows the romantic Stream of Järveoja. The surrounding forest looks and feels primeval. In summer it is cool and dark. Pay attention to the spruce tied in a knot near the path. After crossing the stream you reach the Moora clearing.
At this location, there is also a logbook for the hiking trail. Please log your hike there to, but geocaching logs have to be in the geocaching logbook!!!
