We have found another gap along the Rail Trail and are filling in the blanks.
This section of trail has some wet swampy areas that mosquito and black fly larvae love. It also has some more open areas with grass and poison ivy as well as some areas with trees and or shrubs. And of course, we cannot rule out Ticks lurking in the vegetation.
Some times of the year there is more water than others, and of course in the winter there is snow and ice added in as well. For the most part these hides are not of high difficulty nor challenging terrain.
Not all these hides will be winter friendly.
Yugsirap had hiked back to Golden Mile Road to bring our Cache Mobile down to Pondview Street, leaving me alone to place a few.
I managed to leave my Hiking pole leaning against the foliage near this cache but didn't realize that until the next morning . Yugsirap and I did come back to retrieve it, so that clue is now missing .
