Come out after work for a paddle, and make your way to Donut Island! There may even be donuts ;-) The event will be held on the beach at Donut Island, at the posted coordinates, on Wednesday June 13th, from 5:00-5:30pm.
If you need a temporary canoe, kayak, or paddle boat, they can be rented locally. There are even places to rent without having to cross the lake, so beginner/newer paddlers can participate as well. Contact me through my Profile page if you'd like more information.
RAIN/WIND/WEATHER DATES
Please log a "Will Attend" or "watch" the cache page if you plan on attending, as I will be posting weather updates in the days leading up to the event. In the event of a thunderstorm or strong winds that would prevent most of us from safely accessing Donut Island, I will post a RESCHEDULING note for Thursday June 14. The third rain date option will be Friday June 15. Hopefully it won't come to that!
Prior to the evening Event, if I haven't managed to earlier in the month, I will be (weather permitting) spending the early afternoon checking on all of my & oceanwaves22's paddle caches to ensure they have survived the winter, so if you are there early, we may see you paddling around!
