Geocache Description:

This is one of the four Moengocaches. It is a white, cylindrical container close to the base of the entrance of Casa Blanca.

This geocache was hidden by a student of the MOEN.GO platform. This platform was created by 4 students of the University of Antwerp. The platform connects local guides with travelers and wants to put Marowijne and Moengo more in the spotlight. It offers new economic opportunities for the locals since the mining industry has abandoned the area. At the very same time, tourists get the chance to explore a more unknown side of Suriname and it's rich culture, impressive history and magnificent nature along the Cottica river.

Note: Don't forget that you are in the tropics and remember to keep out an eye for crawling and creeping things!
