Geocache Description:

Happy Birthday Super_Nate

This cache is to wish
Super_Nate
a Happy 30th Birthday.

We first met Nate at Geowoodstock IV in Texas in May 2006.  We were at a picnic table and one of our Tennessee friends introduces us and told us Nate was very interested in Travel Bugs.  They told Nate that we had moved more travel bugs than any other cacher in the world.  He looked to be about 12 years old at the time.  We traded several travel bugs and some caching stories.  The next time we saw him, we had noticed some cachers in our back yard visiting “The Big Orange Travel Bug Convention Center”.  When we went out to greet them, Nate told us who he was and ask if we remembered him.  Of course we remembered such a fine young man.  We believe the group was on their way to Andrews University for some activity.  In July 2011 we were head back towards home from a trip to Florida.  We routed a little out of the way to Collegedale, TN to visit Nate’s “Southern Adventist Univ Trackable Hub”.  On that same side trip we visited a cache placed by Trickett who had moved from our area.  On another occasion, we saw a group at our back yard cache.  This time we recognized Nate by sight.  He introduced us to the group of friends he brought along, including our first introduction to Rebecca.

We are proud to call Nate & Rebecca our friends.  Best of luck on your birthday.

We look forward to their next visit to find this cache, and of course find our “Golden Spike Challenge, for connecting counties from coast to coast.

This cache (camoed larger than normal regular) is along one of the many Mountain bike trails, watch for riders, on Andrews University Campus. This area is very wooded and coords were taken while no leaves were on the trees, your coordinates may not match mine.  See Hint and Spoiler photos for help if needed.
