This is a 17km (approx 10 miles) flat cycle ride around Holes Bay. Can be completed in either direction but works best anticlockwise (stage order). It is of course possible to complete it without a bike by driving as close as you can to each stage, but we'll have to leave suitable parking up to you - it is much easier on a bike or on foot! Get that bike out of the garage, pump up the tyres and oil the chain, and get on it! You could whip round this in an hour and a half, or take your time and stop off in a lovely lunch spot.
This is the 3rd Bike-It series and this time we have arranged a multi stage cache, collecting information as you go to find the final cache location. This is a lovely ride alongside the water, through Upton Country Park, quiet roads of Hamworthy and back through Hamworthy Park. It is almost completely level all the way round with minor undulations. It is mainly paved except for the Country Park where it is packed gravel or woodland and is suitable for bikes and buggies. The section between stages 3 and 4 we think would be possible but hard work with a wheelchair. The final cache location is accessible to all but beware muggles.
You will not find the cache at the given co-ordinates, this is the co-ordinates for Stage 1, though you can also do this multi in reverse.

After stage 9 you can cycle across Poole Lifting Bridge and down the cycle lane back to the start. Or turn left on to the A350 (Blandford Rd) and after 400m turn right onto Rigler Rd which takes you across the new lifting bridge and also has a cycle lane.
