¿Es el Geocaching una actividad social para ti? ¿Te gusta el Geocaching con amigos? Probablemente hayas escuchado el viejo refrán: Dos es compañía, tres es multitud. Bueno, pues vas a necesitar una multitud de cuatro personas con teléfonos inteligentes para poder obtener las coordenadas del contenedor del caché.
El caché no está escondido en las coordenadas publicadas, pero deberás comenzar allí.
Necesitarás un teléfono inteligente con acceso a Internet usando un navegador estándar.
Probablemente hayas estado en algún evento de flash mob. Todos llegan al lugar en un momento determinado, firman el registro y se van unos minutos más tarde. Esta es la misma idea: obtener 4 personas en una ubicación específica al mismo tiempo (todas las personas usarán teléfonos inteligentes), y entonces se revelarán las coordenadas del caché.
Necesitarás tu GPS para navegar hasta el caché.
Instrucciones:
- Ir a las coordenadas publicadas
- Abrir la página web https://www.geotrailsw.com/mob/ con tu teléfono inteligente.
- Verificar que la precisión mostrada sea razonable (con suerte menos de 40 pies).
- "Which mob are you attending?" Cuando se le solicite esta pregunta, ingrese el número 3387
- Esto abrirá una pantalla que te guiará a las coordenadas "geo-mob".
- Puede que ya estes en las coordenadas de la "geo-mob"; si no lo estas, las encontrarás a pocos pasos de las coordenadas publicadas.
- Una vez que el sitio web verifica que se encuentra en la ubicación, un contador se incrementará.
- Lo siguiente es que todos tus amig@s hagan lo mismo y se situen en este mismo lugar. Todos deben ingresar en un círculo con un radio de 10 metros . Así que apretaros bien. Tendrás que meter a 4 de tus amigos allí. Buena suerte.
- Cuando el contador alcance el tamaño requerido de 4, se revelarán las coordenadas para el caché.
- Permanece en tu apretada formación grupal hasta que la información revelada sea grabada, o anotada, fotografiada o memorizada. ¡Apunta esta información de inmediato! Si las personas abandonan el área del "geo-mob", la página que estás mirando puede desaparecer y ya no te mostrará las coordenadas necesarias para el geocaché. (Tardas unos minutos.)
- A continuación ingresa esas coordenadas en tu receptor de GPS y ve a buscarlo.
- Por favor, preserva el espíritu de esta Geo-Mob al no revelar las coordenadas de la ubicación final a aquellos que no se reúnen como grupo tal y como se pretende. Gracias.

Is caching a social activity for you? Do you like caching with friends? You have probably heard the old saying: Two is company, three is a crowd. Well, you are going to need a crowd/mob of four with smart phones to be able to get the coordinates for the cache container.
There is no cache hidden at the posted coordinates, but you will need to start there.
You will need a smart phone with the ability to access the internet using a standard browser.
Many of you have been to a flash mob event. You all get there at a certain time, sign the log, and leave a few minutes later. This is the same idea - get 4 people at a specified location at the same time (all using smart phones), and then the coordinates for the cache are revealed.
You'll need your GPS to navigate to the cache.
Instructions:
- Go to the posted coordinates
- Open https://www.geotrailsw.com/mob/ on your smart phone.
- Verify that the accuracy displayed is reasonable (hopefully less than 40 feet or so.)
- "Which mob are you attending?" When prompted with this question, enter the number 3387
- This will open a screen that will navigate you to the "geo-mob" coordinates.
- You may already be at the mob coordinates, if you're not, it's a short walk from the posted coordinates.
- Once the website verifies you are at the location, the counter bumps up.
- Next is to get all of your friends to do the same and meet you at this location. Everyone has to get within a 10-m-radius sized circle. So squeeze in. You'll have to get 4 of you and your friends squeezed in there. Good luck with that.
- When the counter reaches the required mob size of 4, the coordinates for the cache are revealed.
- Stay in your tight group formation until the revealed information is recorded, or written down, or photographed, or memorized within your photographic memory. Record this information right away! If people leave the mob area, the page you are looking at may disappear and no longer show you the needed coordinates for the geocache. (It takes a minute.)
- Then enter those coordinates into your GPS receiver and go get it.
- Please preserve the spirit of this Geo-Mob by not disclosing the coordinates of the Final location to those who do not meet as a group as intended. Thanks.
