One of the three parks in Kilmarnock, this park is famous for The "Lady's Walk" and commemorates the grief-stricken walks taken by Lady Anne, young widow of William Boyd, the 4th and last Earl of Kilmarnock, who was sentenced to be hung, drawn and quartered. Lady Anne died on 16th September 1747, a year after her husband’s execution, reportedly of a broken heart and legend has it that ‘The Lady’s Walk’ is where Lady Kilmarnock’s ghost walks every night.
There’s a lovely children’s park here too aswell as a bycicle route.
The cache is in a small clip lock lunch box, bring your own pen as the container is just a little small to fit one.
