Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to commemorate the second of my annual Spring CITO events, Saturday Morning CITO - 2018. The final location is somewhere along the area we cleaned up during the CITO.

At the initial location, you will find a memorial to the "Cornerstones of Law and Liberty".  I am starting the CITO memorial here because I feel that it is a civic duty of all residents to help ensure the area we live in is clean and presentable, and maintained for future generations.

Displayed at this location is a small replica of the Statue of Liberty, surrounded by reproductions of various historical documents which, according to the Governing Body of the City of Cheyenne at the time, represent the foundations of American society and law.

To find the final location for this cache, you must first determine the month and day of the CITO that this cache commemorates.  Then, on each of the documents in the memorial (left to right), count down to the line that corresponds with the month of the CITO, and count across to the letter that corresponds to the day.  In cases where there are not be enough letters in the line to match the date of the CITO, count to the end of the line and then start at the beginning of the next line.  Titles of documents are not included in line count.

Next, determine what number the letter from each documents represents, according to the following chart:

A=40 B=5 C=66 D=10 E=75 F=97 G=44 H=57 I=37
J=42 K=34 L=60 M=24 N=8 O=26 P=64 Q=32 R=12
S=7 T=4 U=3 V=73 W=9 X=82 Y=26 Z=45

Finally, you must turn the numbers you have acquired into coordinates via the following puzzles:

α = The number from the first document, divided by the number of bags of trash collected

β = The number from the second document, minus the number of people visible in the photo of the event

γ = The number from the third document, divided by the temperature at the start of the event*

δ = The number from the fourth document, divided by the number of geocachers that logged as having attended the event

ε = The number from the fifth document, plus the number of people that won geotags at the event.

ζ = The number from the sixth document, divided by the temperature at the end of the event*

The final coordinates are at N 41° 09.αβγ  W 104° 48.δεζ

*Temperature data is in °F, and according to www.timeanddate.com  If you know of another historical weather data source that you would rather use, feel free.  I provide this link only as a convenience.
