Schoharie Crossing has a rich natural history as well as the human engineering and social history. From the flora and fauna that exist today, to the geological evidence of how this region was shaped over millions of years, the trails provide a glimpse into the natural beauty of the Mohawk Valley and the river that gave it its name. Sometimes the simplest way to appreciate this is by taking a walk among the trees.
