Dit gebied ziet er misschien niet zo landelijk uit op het eerste oog. Schijn bedriegt hier echter. Vlak achter de voetbalvelden tref je rechts een ‘geheime speeltuin’, Park Meermond. Links het landgoed Hageveld een direct voor je een boerenbedrijf. Voordat je bij de speeltuin kan komen moet je langs de milieustraat van de gemeente. Veel van dit gebied was vroeger namelijk een vuilnisbelt. Daarom ook de heuvels in het landschap. De vuilnisbelt ligt er eigenlijk nog steeds – alleen deze is afgedekt met aarde en begroeiing en dus een speeltuin. Wees gerust waar de koeien nu grazen heeft nooit vuil gelegen. Als je iets verder doorloopt via de weg (doodlopend) kom je bij het MACH racecircuit. Dit is een racecircuits voor miniatuur auto’s. Als ze bezig zijn met racen hoor je dat wel en is het de moeite waard er even naar toe te lopen. Er is een tribune en kantine aanwezig.
