This is the third in our "Sculpture In The Wild" series. It is an ammo can geocache located near the Southwestern corner of the "Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture In The Wild Exhibit". "Southwestern Territory" can be found near an exhibit named "Picture Frame" (artist Jaakko Pernu from Findland). The entire "Blackfoot Pathways: Sculpture in the Wild" location is such a unique open air art exhibit, I urge everyone to allow some extra (non-geocaching) time to wander this expansive exhibit and take in the sights, sounds, and smells of the sculptures in this natural pine forest. Touch, walk through, explore all these different sculptures have to offer. (see photos) Entrance to this area is located (about) one mile East of Lincoln, MT on highway 200. It is on the North side of the highway - almost directly across from the U.S. Forest Service facility. The sign for the turnoff is kinda small, and easily missed, so start using your geo-senses while still in the vehicle approaching this venue. You will know you have arrived by the impressive GATEWAY that greets all visitors. One of the guest artists wrote:

There is NO ADMISSION, and plenty of FREE Parking. There are Vault Toilets here. Although quite a bit of this venue is wheelchair accessible, THIS geocache is not. It will require some minor bushwhacking through light underbrush. (visit their website map of accessibility details: (http://www.sculptureinthewild.com/sculpture-park-map.html) The cache is a larger sized ammo can with lots of room for SWAG. Please swag responsibly, and help by removing any garbage or other contraband swag items. Use care when replacing this cache, to maintain it's stealthy hiding spot. Be aware that snow depth might make this cache unavailable at times during winter months. This is a natural forest, and as such there is some downed timber and branches lying about, so watch your step when going off the walking trail.
Bring some drinking water or your favorite hydrating beverage… maybe even a picnic lunch, and spend a hour or two exploring all this venue has to offer. The orange baskets with chains are for playing disc golf, so if you feel inclined to bring a few discs GO FOR IT! Certain times of the season, insect repellant might be necessary. This is a family friendly nature walk, so be mindful of Muggles along the trail.
