This cache is being placed with permission of the camp ranger (Pockets) and Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana. Welcome to Camp Pennyroyal! We are glad you came. This cache was placed with the express purpose of sending off travel bugs for our Junior Girl Scouts that are earning their Geocaching Badge at camp. We would love for you to pick up a traveling friend and maybe leave one to be discovered. There is parking located just beyond the gate with plenty of space to turn around. If Pockets is around I'm sure she will greet you. She is graciously taking care of the maintenance of the cache since it's basically in her front yard. If by chance you have been to Laconia, Indiana you may have come across another camp cache at Camp Stem. This one is similar in nature. It was built by Mr. Wright (aka Daddy Longlegs) to resemble the cabins in Acorn Valley here at Camp Pennyroyal. BYOP
