The cache is not at the listed coordinates.  Learn a little of the history of Kannapolis and answer the question below for the final coordinates.

The park requests that you do not park on the gravel road.  Please utilize the parking lot or the overflow parking area.

The Kannapolis Cemetery, located close to this location at 700 West C Street, is registered as a historic landmark.  A marker dating back to 1746 is located in the cemetery, making this an important part of Kannapolis' history.

The cemetery contains approximately 3,474 plots and there are an estimated 150 unused plots.  John and Sarah Baker were among some of the earliest known settlers in the area.  The Bakers purchased land in the early 1770's through a land grant from King George III.  The Baker's monument is one of the oldest in the cemetery.

The Parks and Recreation Department is working to catalog and map all of the plots in the cemetery.
