Egypt has it's pyramids, England has it's castles but Lethbridge has "The Thing".
This cache has been placed with the intention that it not be found before 6 pm, June 15 for consideration for the CARL10 event statistics. No further logging will be required for the event.
There is no parking nearby. You will be walking in from either the top of Bull Trail (stairs), Indian Battle Park (pedestrian bridge) or the University of Lethbridge (walking trails). CAUTION: you will have to cross a beaver dam to get to the site. Feel free to bring a trinket to pay homage to "The Thing". If you get to the cache without seeing "The Thing", back track to N 49 41.073 W 112 51.482. It is well worth a visit.
If the river is flooding, DO NOT attempt this cache.
