La retenue collinaire de Beauregard, ou lac artificiel de la Ferriaz, fut construite en 2004 et représente un volume de 43000 m3. Elle se trouve au croisement des pistes de randonnées, de VTT et de ski alpin du Massif de Beauregard, accessible par la télécabine du même nom depuis le village de La Clusaz. On peut également y accéder à pied ou en voiture par la route de la Patton, en dehors de la saison hivernale.
Elle offre un panorama imprenable sur la chaîne des Aravis et le village.
Avec un peu de chance, vous y croiserez un authentique champion de télémark de La Clusaz.
The Beauregard hill reservoir, or Ferriaz artificial lake, was built in 2004 and represents a volume of 43,000 m3. It is at the crossroads of the Massif de Beauregard hiking, mountain biking and downhill skiing trails, accessible by the cable car of the same name from the village of La Clusaz. It can also be reached on foot or by car by the Patton road, outside the winter season.
It offers an outstanding panorama on Aravis mountains and the village.
