The hamlet of Eden is located between Neepawa and McCreary Manitoba just east of Highway #5 at the junction of PR #265 and is in the RM of Rosedale who's office can be found in Eden. Rosedale municipality was incorporated in 1884 and consists of 7 communities: Kelwood, Riding Mountain, Birnie, Eden, Mountain Road, Polonia and Franklin. Farming plays the biggest role in the economic picture. Some other industries are machine shops, home-building and furniture manufacturing.
The Manitoba Historical Society lists several sites in and around Eden which consists of schools, cemeteries and a now obsolete practise airfield from the war period that was paired with the air training school in Neepawa.
