Star Trek first aired over 50 years ago. Created by Gene Roddenberry in 1964, the franchise has spawned numerous television series, films, comics, novels, games, and fan fiction...and now there's a Trek-themed GeoArt series in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.
The various Star Trek series and films have introduced numerous characters and some have made crossover appearances. Such crossovers usually occured among The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, and Voyager. There was less crossover with The Original Series and Enterprise, since those series represented different centuries.
