Star Trek first aired over 50 years ago. Created by Gene Roddenberry in 1964, the franchise has spawned numerous television series, films, comics, novels, games, and fan fiction...and now there's a Trek-themed GeoArt series in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.


Captain was a senior line officer rank of most space services and usually given to the commanding officers of starships, although other non-command personnel could also hold that rank. Any officer holding the center seat of a spacecraft was properly addressed as "captain," regardless of their actual service rank.

The newest series, Discovery, diverges from the trend of having captains as the lead characters of Star Trek productions. To find the location of this cache, you'll need to know who was granted command of the starships featured in the series listed below.
