This cache has been placed along an old section of the Pacific Highway now known as the Macleay Valley Way.
The new section adjacent to this location was opened on 27th March 2013. The bridge over the Macleay River and Floodplain is 3.2 kilometres long, making it the longest bridge in Australia.
The bridge is officially known as Yapang gurraarrbang gayandugayigu meaning βvery long track to the other sideβ and has been chosen for the bridge to recognise the Aboriginal history of the location.
This caching series is designed as a quick park and grab and is best tackled if you are heading north.
Cache container is a black pill bottle.
Hope you enjoy some of the scenery on this trail.
