Get into your kayak or canoe and paddle the Wallenpaupack to find this series of caches. Your entire trip will be in a no wake zone, the water will be flat with little or no current.
A kayak or canoe will work best for this series. A larger boat will be a hinderance for most caches. I had a smaller series in this area 2 years ago. This time you will be looking for 16 caches beginning just upstream of the Ledgedale Bridge. You will be paddling 2.5 miles one-way to get all of them.
The lowering of the lake water level as the summer goes on is not ideal for this type of cache. I recommend you try from June to mid- July. By mid-July and through the rest of the summer, the water level may be too low to reach the caches from your kayak, so you may have to get out of the kayak to retreive the container.
All the caches a micros hanging from bushes, branches and tree limbs near the shore. Don't forget your pen and life jacket. Enjoy and have fun.
