Wheela Deala: Jeep?
Mick, the buyer and salesman, enters the workshop and talks to his mechanic, Ned.
Mick: Hi Ned. You know that we, as the Wheela Deala team, find cars for not much money and I buy ‘em, you fix ‘em up and then I sell ‘em for a tidy profit? Well, I’ve gotta great tip on an old classic that could earn us quite a few quid.
Ned: That’s brilliant Mick! What is it? Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Jaguar, Ferrari, Citroen Deux Cheavau Vapeur?
Mick: No me old China, it’s American and a 4 by 4. In fact, it’s the original 4 by 4.
Ned: Okay, so it must be a Willys Jeep then. So where is it then? Is it outside? I didn’t hear you drive up.
Mick: No, we’ll have to get it assessed first. I don’t know what condition it’s in, I haven’t seen it yet.
Ned: Ah Mick, so it could be a complete non-runner!
Mick: Calm down big man, this could be a good deal. It shouldn’t take you long to nip out, have a look and decide whether it’s worth buying or not.
Ned: Sorry Mick, I don’t have the time, I’m snowed under in the workshop. Why can’t you go?>/p?
Mick: I got more deals to do, loads of meetings lined up. I have an idea though. We can send our apprentices, it’ll be good experience for them.
Ned: That’s a good idea, I can carry on with what I’m doing and you can keep your appointments.
Mick: Yeah, and our apprentices get some valuable experience, everyone’s a winner. Lovely jubbly.
So, as the Wheela Deala apprentice, it is up to you to assess Mick’s latest tip and then let Mick and Ned know by logging your find.
Even Ned might have his work cut out restoring this one!!!
The Cache
The cache consists of a small tab-lock box wrapped in black material. It contains a cache note, logbook, pencil, sharpener and a few small swap items.
Located in Randalstown Forest, this area was used as a training area for Allied forces during the Second World War.
Please return the cache to its hiding place and leave the area as you found it so that other apprentices can also make their assessments.
First To Find
The cache contains a small reward for the first apprentice Wheela Deala who finds it. This item is clearly marked and the finder does not need to swap anything for it.
Please note; this only applies to the FTF prize and the regular swap rules apply to all other items.
Enjoy The Hunt!
