This cache allows you to get up close and rubberneck Malaysia's new tallest building: The Exchange.
The Exchange 106
The Exchange 106 is the signature skyscraper within the Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), a new financial district currently being developed. The 106-floor building is topped with a 48-meter, 12-storey high illuminated glass crown at its peak for a maximum height of 492 meters. Since October 2019 it serves as the tallest building in Malaysia, surpassing the nearby 452 metres high Petronas Twin Towers.
The Exchange 106 also dethrones the region's previous champion, Vietnam's completed Landmark 81 project, which stands at 469.5 metres tall. In comparison, neighbouring Singapore's tallest building, the Guoco Tower in Tanjung Pagar, stands at 290 metres only, while Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the world's tallest, reaches 830 metres.
