About the Location
This cache is hidden in a long brush pile that divides the upper park from the river valley. The location used to be along a foot path in a wooded area, but the county cut the tree line back about fifty feet in the fall of 2020. Then, in May 2023, they piled more brush on top of the geocache. Now the geocache is only accessible from the side with the park.
About the Spy Gear
In the 1994 film, True Lies, Harry Tasker had a small camera hidden in a pack of Lucky Strike cigarettes, which broadcasted a signal to a screen hidden in a pair of sunglasses. He used it to evade an attack by thugs who were following him.
Today we are all accustomed to having tiny cameras in our pockets. It is the cigarettes that would seem out of place. Adult tobacco use has declined from 28% in 1994 to 11.5% in 2021.
