Geocache Description:

Western Park Golf Course was an 18-hole municipal golf course which opened in 1910, and sadly closed in 2015.

This area may end up being developed on in the future, so enjoy the open green space and tree-lined paths while you can.

The caches are close to paths in and around the old course. The paths can be muddy, and the grass wet, for quite a few months of the year. And mosquitos seem to like this area!

Nicknamed 'The Golden Bear' Jack Nicklaus is a retired American professional golfer. Many observers regard him as the greatest golfer of all time. During a span of more than 25 years, he won a record 18 career major championships while producing 19 second-place and 9 third-place finishes.

Could prove to be a tough hide, though hopefully no bears in this wood to disturb your search.
