Come and enjoy an afternoon in the park. The band will be playing, there are ducks to be fed and a children's play area near by.
Familykemp Dad will be sat listening to the band on the 'amphitheatre style' grass tiers near the tennis courts in the upper part of Ashton Park. He will have 7 tbs we found in Northumberland on him, an event log book to sign and some none melting biscuits (because of course it will be sunny).
You might like to bring a rug to sit on and an umbrella if the weather looks doubtful. The posters near the venue say the friends of Ashton Park tea , icecream and refreshment shop will be open. The band is playing 2 till 4 with a 20 minutes break in the middle so it will be playing for the whole of the event. Feel free to stay on after the event.
If it is raining we will still be there and if the band isn't playing for any reason I will personally play you a tune on my flute under an umbrella!!!
